Summary of Work
WBA providers across Australia have to, with precision, schedule, monitor and manage up to 30+ assessments per candidate per assessment period that can range from six months to 24 months depending on the provider. The workload to administer such massive numbers of paper-based assessments by a provider can be overwhelming for the most experienced program coordinator. It is also difficult for assessors to juggle competing clinical commitments with their dedication to participating as WBA Assessors. Candidates are equally committed to successfully completing their assessments and are pressured to respond within designated timeframes in order to stay abreast of their deadlines. This at times can be difficult including forgetting compulsory paperwork, returning signed, confidential assessment forms through the internal or external mail system adding to the stressors.
